Beginning at level 6 and after turning in a Weapon Exchange Coupon, characters are able to advance more easily to their first job change by obtaining specific quest suggestions from the Newbie Guides in their starting village. The Newbie Guides provide bonus experience, SP, and Adena for completing the quests they suggest for your character.

Additional Quest Rewards
Characters designated as new characters, if they perform certain quests, will receive additional quest rewards that are not given to the other characters. Fighters receive 13,000 No Grade Soulshots, and Mystics receive 6,000 No Grade Spiritshots. They receive Soulshots and Spiritshots twice: when they begin the game for the first time, and when they perform the first weapon quest around level 10. In addition, new characters will also receive more rewards in many quests.
